"Mykonos" Greece Travelogue by F.Lade

The windmills on Mykonos , are a well known postcard motive. Yearly this small island are visited by more than 700 000 tourists. The island has 5500 inhabitans.

Mykonos

The port Mykonos never sleeps , there are more than 30 bars and disco's.The town has for long been a cosmopolitican meettingplace for intilectuals , artists and jet setters of nonpuritans.Here overlooking the part of town called little Venecia , absolutly an excellent place to sit down and enjoy a drink while watching the sun go down.

Petrus

The most respected inhabitant in this town is the Pelican Petrus.

Ornel beach

When I were there I stayed at Ornel beach , 10 min. with local bus to town , dayly boats to 7 other beaches and to the historical island Delos.
