The Commerzbank tower in Frankfurt is the first so called "ecological skyscraper" in the world because of the new technology for heating and cooling.
At night the building is illuminated in a changing yellow light scheme by artist Thomas Emde.
Only the plaza level of Commerzbank's tower is accessible to the public. There is no observatory or open area on top.
It is still the talles office building in Europe, despite the fact that from December 2003, the Triumph-Palace in Moscow grew 5 meters higher - but that's an ugly building indeed :)
One of the impressive feature of this special building is THE ATRIUM..it's inner core..triunghiular shaped tunnel..made of steel and glass...you can see from the base in the Foyer (reception) all up to the sky..nice isn't it?
The 20 meters long high tech carpet in the foyer of Commerzbank. Carefully designed and produced, its colours change depending of the position of the viewer. The Foyer is impressive, 30 meters high.
Gardens inside Commerzbank building. There are nine big gardens inside, three on each side, several stories high, superb places for relaxation.
