SANTANDER
In the north coast of Spain, this region is well known by its mountain ranges, Picos de Europa and the natural preserve of Saja, still live bears, wolves and eagles, and the rivers are full of salmons and trouts.
Main highlights: Santander located at a beautiful bay, this city is famous by the Menendez y Pelayo International Summer University, and the International Festival. Santillana del Mar, a nice medieval village, close to the Altamira Caves. TheCabarceno natural park offers you animals from the five continents in an outstanding and singular landscape.
Hello Joaquin. I really enjoyed your insights in life in Spain. Fantastic info & great pictures here! Unfortunately I have only had a short stay in Sevilla, but I plan to return. Thanks for sharing! Greetings from the desert / Jess :-)

Free admission to Royal Palaces for EU Citizens on Wednesdays! Avoid Election Days - they are usually closed.
