A day in my life

by SirRichard - last update: Sep 8, 2002

Early morning

I use to wake up at 07:30. At 8 I go to a gym very close from where I live.
In the background you can see my house.

Working hard...

...or not so hard!

Whenever I have some spare moments I connect to Virtual Tourist from my computer at work.
(Don't tell the Boss, LOL)

The end

At 19:00 / 20:00 (depends on the work) I go back home, where I have dinner at about 9.
And that's it!

The gym

I use to go for 45-50 minutes for some exercise. In fact is the only time of the day when I have time for that. Besides, at that time the gym is almost empty, so it is much more comfortable...

Breakfast

I have breakfast at about 9 in a Cafeteria near home. Coffee with milk and a croissant. I read a little the newspapers if I have time...

On the road

I go to work by motorbike, the best way to move around in Madrid. 10 minutes to the office, no traffic jams, no parking problems...

My studio

I work as a graphic designer in a little studio in Madrid called grafimac. We are 11 persons there, I'm in charge of the graphic design with a Macintosh Computer.

Lunch break

I use to work from 9:30 to 14:30, then have a little lunch break and continue from 16:00 to 19:00.
At that time I go home for lunch, as is not far from where I work.

Siesta time...

Some minutes of relax after lunch... it's not a proper "siesta", but it helps!

Afternoon

An after lunch coffee and back to work...

Hello Joaquin. I really enjoyed your insights in life in Spain. Fantastic info & great pictures here! Unfortunately I have only had a short stay in Sevilla, but I plan to return. Thanks for sharing! Greetings from the desert / Jess :-)

Free admission to Royal Palaces for EU Citizens on Wednesdays! Avoid Election Days - they are usually closed.
