In Eureka Springs there are lots of B&B's, cottages, motels, and a few campgrounds to stay at. For hotels/motels, I recommend the historical Crescent Hotel (www.crescent-hotel.com - ask for the haunted room if you dare) or Basin Park Hotel (www.basinpark.com) for the atmosphere. Best Western Inn of the Ozarks (www.InnoftheOzarks.com), versus the other 2 Best Westerns in town, is the best regular motel with the main convention center in town. Flatiron Flats, while expensive, is in the heart of the historic district and in my favorite historic building (www.eureka-net.com/flatiron/). But I must admit I normally find a cheap motel to stay in (I'm a tightwad but I don't like camping). There are several websites to check out, including www.eurekasprings.org or www.eurekaspringschamber.com . The cleanest motel I've stayed at is Apple Blossom Inn ph#501-253-5552. Dogwood Inn, ph#800-544-1884, Thurman's Lodge, ph#888-349-7626, and Ozark Swiss Inn, ph#800-833-8450, are cheap and your basic motel room. Don't stay at Mount Joy Motel, the rooms smell bad. Log Cabin Inn is only 3 blocks away from downtown, but it's straight downhill which means a steep uphill climb when it's time to sleep! And realize room rates fluctuate dramatically from week to week, depending on what event is taking place in town.
