The park is 3 hours from Puerto Natales. The transportation can be arranged at the majority of guesthouses and hotels, but also at the bus agencies spread over the center. There are buses leaving every morning at 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. (don?t remember the exact time...), they stop in front of the guesthouse, and it?s better to pay them the day before. What people usually do is to buy the two-way ticket, and then keep the return ticket and use it whenever they decide to do so.
The first stop is in Laguna Amarga, where everyone has to register and pay the entrance ticket. There you can also get lots of informations with the guards. The entrance costs for about 8000 chilean pesos (that was the price in october 2003) for foreigners, which would be aprox. 13 or 14 dolars; there are no discount for students...=(
