1999 - We had a rough start here, mainly because of a misunderstanding between our travel agent and the tour operator. Once it was sorted out (thanks, Dan), we really enjoyed our stay.
2003 - We came back to this hotel because it was very cheap, and we wanted to stay in this part of town again.
Unique Qualities: 1999 - Right in Old Vallarta - on Playa los Muertos. Our description of this hotel is a soft two-star. The staff made it really fun, there were lots of activities (I know, most all-incusives have this, but we really enjoyed these folks).
2003 - We booked room only this time, and as it turned out, that was a better way to go. Many of the all-inclusive activities we had enjoyed on our previous visit had been discontinued, and the bar seemed to close quite early.
