Stockyards Hotel was built in 1907 and has been used by rich cattle barons, country and western music singers and apparently the odd outlaw on occasion. The lobby features lots of polished wood and brass and furniture upholstered in hair-side-up cowhide. There is also an attractive selection of south-western art. There are 52 guest rooms upstairs which also carry the theme with more south-estern paintings.
