    • Old Cliffie stayed at the Hilton, a massive pile fronting Michigan Avenue and the lake, that has seen presidents come and go and famously featured in the closing scenes of 'The Fugitive' with Harrison Ford. It's a big convention hotel, which makes it all seem a bit impersonal at times, but if you get the convention rate, it's a bargain.
