Until recently I didn`t realise that London had an aquarium, it appears it does and a pretty good one at that. The aquarium is located in the old County Hall building next to Westminster Bridge. The first thing that you see as you walk through the entrance is a Ford Ka converted into a fish tank, some people will say that`s the best think to use those cars for but I digress.

The aquarium is set on two floors with two large tanks spanning both floors and several smaller ones.

Once inside you walk along a short corridor to the first tank, the route you need to take is numbered and a map is also given to you with your entry fee.

The two largest tanks hold fish from the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, including 2 or 3 sharks, rays and various other fish.

You exit the Aquarium by going up a small escalator into a well stocked shop.

To be continued

Directions: Look for the London Eye and the Aquarium will not be far away, it is in the building next to it.
