Riding the cable car in SF is a famous tourist attraction. It's fun to go around with the cable car. For a scenic ride, it's better to take the cable car from the station near Fishermans Wharf - located in the intersection of Hyde St and Beach St. Sometimes the queuing line can be very long.

You can also visit the Cable Car Museum.

Address: 1201 Mason St. at Washington
Directions: There are 4 cable car lines (Hyde, California, Mason and Powell).
