  Aga Khan Mausoleum
by Myndo

Aga Khan was a religious leader.
He was a direct descendant of Mohammed and so an Iman, religious leader of the Ismaelites, a muslimic sect.
He was very rich and had a world famous horse breeding.

He really liked Aswan, so he choose a place there for his Mausoleum. A really nice place, too, too bad he can't enjoy it anymore...

The Mausoleum could be visited until some tourists obviously misbehaved and the widow of the Aga Khan forbid it.
She died before she could open the Mausoleum again, so it is still closed for the public.
