"" Melbourne Central Tip by Krystynn

Melbourne Central, Melbourne: 7 reviews and 10 photos

And this is the famed MELBOURNE CENTRAL, a lovely building in the heart of the city.

You can find lovely shops here e.g. Ken Done, several souvenir shops and even a lovely shop selling nothing but Irish products called simply 'The Irish Shop'! The Japanese department store, Daimaru is also located inside this building... and if you want to try Australian food, do drop by 'The Ghost Gum & Emu Restaurant'. You won't miss it; it's just facing the HUGE musical clock. Even if you don't feel like eating, why not simply come here for a cup of coffee? It's pretty inexpensive and I'm also very impressed with the service here!

If you want to send postcards home, there's even a mini post office selling stamps at the basement. Check it out!
