On the street one gets often asked if one could change the small money into bills - especially Euros.

Problem is, that the banks in Egypt (as most other banks, too) do not take coins. Many tourists leave 1 Euro coins as baksheesh. So what can one do? Ask the tourists if they can change 10 coins into a bill.

If you can, do it so, you help these people.

BUT: have a good look at the coins when you recieve them, because what looked like an Euro coin (silver outside, gold inside) could be one of the old Italian Lira - and they are worth nothing anymore.
