The Irish Pub - 20th and Walnut.: "Go next door for real Irish, but this place is fun" Philadelphia Nightlife Tip by DrexelDragon

Philadelphia Nightlife: 117 reviews and 116 photos

The Irish Pub is fun even if it's not that Irish. Although, I think some of the lads behind the bar have accents. They place decent music. There's an upstairs that's big, and the basement is small. Never too hard to get a beer, because there's usually a lot of guys behind the bar. Attracts a largely college crowd, and it's a good place to find company for the evening. They have some kind of special and a pretty decent selection of beer. I have not eaten here, but they do serve food. They usually play some classic hits towards the end of the night like Frank Sinatra's Summer Wind and Neil Diamond.

Dress Code: Most dress a bit better than jeans and tshirts.
