After is one of the oldest district of Lisbon city. There are many old tenement houses, old trees.

You can see the cage with the canary out of the window or even laundry out fo the window..

.But the walk around this district is nice and you have really nice time there. Through Alfama you can arrive to Cathedral Se which is very nice (and old one, it is from the XII th century) and Sao Jorge Castle.

From the area of the castle you can see also very nice panorama of the city.

Address: Alfama
Directions: Between Castelo de São Jorge & Rio Tejo.
