Board of Trade Saloon: "Century Old Watering Hole" Top 5 Page for this destination Nome Nightlife Tip by Stephen-KarenConn
Nome Nightlife: 4 reviews and 4 photos
Of the half dozen or so bars in Nome, the Board of Trade Saloon is the oldest. When It opened, in 1900, a reviewer described the "handsome fixtures, as rich looking as though they had been the work of artists."
I took a peak inside and thought the gilt mirrors and hand carved bar would make a good set for an old western movie. The place seemed to have no shortage of customers, even though it was a week night.
