Harbour Lights Picturehouse: "Foreign language & independent films" Top 5 Page for this destination Southampton Nightlife Tip by iwys

Southampton Nightlife: 11 reviews and 5 photos

This is my favourite cinema in Southampton. It has a beautiful location, overlooking the marina, and It specializes in arthouse cinema and foreign language films. Right now, for example, it is screening a Korean film. All of the foreign language films have English subtitles.

The cinema's cafe-bar, which has a great view of the marina and a sun terrace, is a nice place to hang out, sipping a glass of white wine and watching the yachts. There is a film quiz there every other Tuesday night at 8pm.

It was voted the Best Loved Independent Cinema in the U.K. by Empire magazine readers.

Ticket prices range from £4.30 for all screenings on Monday up to £5.80 for performances after 6pm, Tuesday to Saturday. There are concessions for students, children and members. Be warned: there is an 80p telephone and online booking fee, so it's better to pay at the door. There is full disabled access.

Dress Code: Wear anything you like.

Address: Ocean Village, Southampton SO14 3TL
Directions: It's next to the marina at Ocean Village.
