I was quite new to Tudor-Jacobean architecture style, quite popular in houses along Monument Avenue in Richmond. This revival style derives from England and its main characteristics are steep roof gables and still the high chimneys as in the previous Elizabethan style. I could easy notice the above looking at the roof of the Branch House on my picture.

Address: 2501 Monument Avenue, Richmond, VA 23220
Directions: On the southeastern corner of Monument Avenue (its eastern part) and N. Davis Ave., by the square with monument of Confederate President Jefferson Davis, 2.5 mi northwest of the Capitol Square.
