Its good to cycle around the whole island in a day if you have the stamina to overcome numerous slopes. There are really a lot of slopes on the island. I didn't cycle as I could only spend half a day there so I took the Bayseeker hop-on hop-off bus for 7 AUD for unlimited rides. However, this bus only comes once an hour.

Remember to wear the helmet on at all times while cycling as its an offence for not doing so.

Directions: Get the map from the visitor centre at the main settlement near the jetty. It opens at 8.30am.
