"Violent supporters" Milan Warnings Or Dangers Tip by Calcio

Going to a football-game in Italy is normally not dangerous. But for some matches in Milano you should be a bit extra careful. Milan and Inter has almost the same “enemies”, and everytime they meet the big rivals Juventus or Roma you should definitely watch out for incidents. Quite often they occur outside the Stadium bar, close to the Curva Nord (green sector of the stadium).
The most important thing, if you support a team that play against Inter or Milan, is to not look “too much” as an away-supporter. Don’t go there with a scarfe or t-shirt that belongs to your favourite-team in other words. Mostly the hardcore-supporters will leave you alone, as long as you’re not looking for trouble, but you might be unlucky and stay beside the “wrong” person inside the stadium.
Milan’s biggest enemies are Juventus, Roma, Lazio, Torino, Sampdoria and Napoli. They’re friends with Brescia, and also with Salernitana.
Also Inter are of course a big rival for the Milan-supporters, together with Juventus the biggest, but since the beginning of the 1980-ties, after decades of serious incidents, the leaders of the both supporter-groups decided to make a pact, to make sure no one got killed. This non-violence-pact is still intact, which means that you could go to a Milano-derby without having to be afraid of the other team’s supporters.
Inter’s rivals are Juventus, Roma and Napoli. But they are friends with Lazio
