Located north of Darwin just around the corner from the Marina which has restaurants and a wooden board walk where boats will take you out for a cruise too if you like is the stunning scenery of Cullen Bay Beach. Definately worth the hike that I took on an unbelieveably hot 40 plus day. Mind you the hike back up the hill turned me beetroot red and by the time I made my way back home to Larrakeyah which is just around the corner at the top of the hill of the city where you can turn off to find this oasis I REALLY needed a huge drink and a cold shower. Some mad people like me in Darwin still walk around in the middle of the build up season. In the cool though I recommend it as a nice little walk out of the city. Although then... I didn't have a car. If you are planning a trip, go for sunset and then maybe dinner somewhere along the marina. Or take one of those famous sunset cruises. The boat in this shotmay have to wait until the tide though.

Address: Cullen Bay, North of the city
Directions: Turn left of the top of Mitchell street.
