Instead of just looking at Sydney Opera House, why not go inside and see an opera? I was lucky because I managed to get the very last ticket for a performance of "Eugene Onegin".
Even though I was right at the end of the back row, the view was excellent. English surtitles are projected above the stage.
There are excellent restaurants and bars inside.
Typical ticket prices for an opera range from A$50 to A$200.
Directions: It's 5 minutes walk from Circular Quay. There is also a free bus service from the quay for all major performances.
You really can't miss it!
