Remember Granada is a Province with a coastline (Costa Tropical) as well as a city. Although the beaches are mainly pebbles (as in Almuñeca) it is still the med! Another problem with Almuñeca is the amount of tourists in summer. It is a popular place for older Brits to have holiday homes that live there in summer and go back to Britain in winter. Therefore in winter it's more like a ghost town. Despite all that the old town of Amuñeca is beautiful and the sunsets amazing.

Almuñeca also has a thriving nightlife in summer, with loads of cool places to check out.

If you want to escape the heat of Granada city in summer or the cold in winter this is a good close place to come for the day! It is often sheltered from the wind too due to the fact in is surrounded by mountains.

Directions: The costa Tropical in the province of Granada, Andalucia. To the left of the Costa del Sol and the Malaga province.
