  Amphitheatre at Ronda la Vieja.
by blint

Ronda la Vieja is 12km from Ronda and is built on Neolithic foundations though became a Roman town of Acinipo during the first century AD.

The most impressive thing to see here is the Amphitheatre which boasts absolutely INCREDIBLE acoustics! You can stand on the stage and whisper and anyone sitting in the back row of the old seats can here you with NO trouble! Just make sure you don't talk bad of anyone while you are here; they are liable to hear you! It is an amazing example of Roman ingenuity that you get the opportunity to try out!

The site is open from 10-6. It does not look like a usual entrance to a historic sight as there is no ticket building; just a farmer and a small shack to welcome you!

P.S. I should clarify that all there is in Ronda la Vieja is Roman ruins! There is no town or anthing. Just the ruins, the farmer and his dogs!

Directions: Situated in the province of Malaga in the outh of Spain. It is 12km from Ronda. Turn right 6km down the main road between Arcos and Sevilla.
