Budapest possesses an inexpensive (24h ticket costs only about 2€) and efficient public transport system. The 3 metro (subway) lines converge at Deak ter Station and run from 4am-11pm.

If I've understood correctly, they have the oldest subway in Europe...M1! And what's best, the "trains" are clean, came often and on time... WOHOO! :D (probably still come..!)
