Buses around Cadiz Town:

Get the number 1 bus from Plaza España (in the centre) to the beach Santa Maria/Victoria or Cortadura (new town) going along the main Avenue.

The get the number 7 bus from Parque Genoves or Campo del Sur (in the centre) which takes you as far as Playa Victoria (new town) going along the beach front.

The number 5 bus starts at Plaza España in the centre, then goes past Corte Ingles and finally on to the football stadium and Elcano along the new avenue (Juan Carlos).

You do not have to say where you are going as all bus tickets cost the same even if you get off at the next stop or the last. if you are buying more than one ticket all you have to say is the number of tickets you want or hold your fingers up if you can't speak Spanish.

Get off at the middle or back door. The first door is only for people getting on the bus. You buy tickets on the bus unless you want to buy a bonobus (10 trips) in which case you get them from paper or lottery shops or tobacconists.

All bus tickets around Cadiz cost 93 cents.

A bonobus costs around 6 or 7 euros for 10 trips.
