  Waves at Doolin Pier
by himalia11

Doolin is a small fishing village on a bay at the northern end of the Cliffs of Moher. From its pier you can see these famous cliffs in a distance and from the pier, you can do boat trips to the cliffs and there’s a ferry to the Aran Islands. When we were there, the waves were so huge, it looked fantastic.

Doolin is said to be centre of Irish Music, it has several Singing Pubs and a music shop. Although it’s such a little village it has been very full and busy. However at the pier, it fortunately was more calm!

Address: Doolin
Directions: North of the Cliffs of Moher, about 7 km west of Lisdoonvarna.
