  the hiking-path in Cinque terre
by globetrott

The hiking-path between the 5 villages is part of the " Cinque Terre National Park " and you have to pay an entrance-fee, when you want to go that path.
Only the part of the path going through the villages is free of charge, for the rest they charge you 3,5 €uro for the day-ticket .
When you see the sign like on my picture, the ticket-control is just about 100 meters ahead.

This fee will be included already in your train-day-ticket for 5terre !

NO DOGS ALLOWED on the path !!

Equipment: Good hiking-shoes are essential and the hike is not advisable for elderly people, as the pavement is not always as easy and smooth like on my picture.

Directions: The path will lead through all of the 5villages
