Favorite thing: Herman Gesellius, Armas Lindgren and Eliel Saarinen formed a partnership before graduating from Helsinki Polytechnic in 1896. They became three of the most famous Finnish architects. Their most famous work as a team is probably the Finnish national museum in Helsinki. My favourite building by them is the Pohjola Insurance Company building in Aleksanderinkatu in Helsinki. Together they also designed the Finnish pavilion of Expo 1900 in Paris.
Eliel Saarinen later designed Helsinki's beautiful central station and his son Eero, who grew up in Hvitträsk, became a very successful architect, too.
