'Halaszbastya' or the 'fishermens bastion'
has little or no historical value.
I told you about 'Frigyes Schulek' , the architect
that had reinvented the Matthis chuch in 1896.

He did such a fine job , and the people of Budapest
were so enthousiast , he got another assignment.
He could rebuild the parth of the castle
where the fishers guild defended the
castle hill in the middle ages.
Now you know where the name comes from.
But it is not a reconstruction , it is a fantasy of the
