"Shanghai Museum" China Things to Do Tip by Mez77

The Shanghai Museum is touted to be one of the best museums in the world. Having heard such great things, I couldn't wait to check it out. I'm a big fan of museums and all things historical.

However, I must say I was underwhelmed. It had some very interesting exhibits, but not enough depth. There were whole floors dedicated to calligraphy, or stamps, or coins, but I wanted some real meat...you know..the real history of China in all her Glory.

Perhaps I was expecting too much, but I must say I have enjoyed other less-famed museums much more.
