"Xth - The St Denis Arch" The St Denis Arch Tip by Maillekeukeul

The St Denis Arch, Paris: 3 reviews and 5 photos

St Denis Street is very famous for two main reasons. The first one, and, let's say, the least one, is that the street is full of wholesale cloth stores, often managed by asian or jewish people. During the day, the pavement is invaded by people running with cloth logs or cloth boxes that have to be delivered somewhere, in one of the numerous shops, as soon as possible !!! And just imagine the traffic jams in the street when a truck decides to stop to deliver its stuff !!! The second reason of the St Denis street's fame is that it is a prostitution place, that is unfortunately hectic from dusk till dawn, but also during daytime.... Depending on the season (unfortunately for these women, they can be considered as fruits), the melting pot of races is more or less a success.... Recently, asian and african women outnumbered the whites.... How I know that ? Well... er.... I'm no client, I just used to live there, 9 years ago, and from time to time, I come and visit friends living in the neighbourhood... I can't prevent myself from observing the changes.... Anyway, what you maybe don't know is that there is a splendid arch at the end of the street... Enjoy the view !!!
