  rice paddies and cliff

nick-named the Halong Bay of the rice paddies. It's a beautiful place... too me it was debateable whether Halong Bay was more beautiful cause of the garbage everywhere in the ocean. The whole area is covered in huge limestone cliffs jutting out of the rice paddies. Most people take a two hour rowboat ride down a small river. Passing through caves and by huge cliffs. A very beautiful spot. Many of the boat drivers row the boats with their feet... strange but interesting. You will be pressured to look at your drivers embroidery. If you have no interest in buying anything then don't show any interest or you may find it hard to get out of your boat.....

Directions: Tam Coc is a few hours drive from Hanoi
