  • Boat Quay Area - Singapore

Boat Quay is the heart of Singapore's dining scene. Located along the south bank of the river, between the Financial district and Colonial Singapore, it has dozens of restaurants to serve all tastes. Restaurants range from local Singapore, Malay, Indian, and Chinese to far-off European, South American, and Australian. The restaurants along the river all have huge outdoor dining areas that face the water and offer a very elegant setting in the evening.

The biggest problem here are the hawkers in front of every establishment trying to convince people to eat at their restaurant. After 3 or 4 times, it gets very, very annoying.
