"The topes (speed bumps) in..." Mexico Warnings Or Dangers Tip by wbozic

Mexico Warnings and Dangers: 209 reviews and 77 photos

The topes (speed bumps) in Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato are large and frequent. We counted a speed bump every 50 meters. Although driving slow is a must, you will still bottom-out as the topes are high and the roads are in poor condition. The photo is of the facade of the historic church where Padre Hidalgo gave the famous 'Grito', the roads inflicted so much damage on the cars we drove that we would take a bus next time.
