This is really an impresive monument, it was built in the 1st century A.D. by the emperor Augstus and was dedicated to Memius, the grandson of the dictator Sulla. The stones of the base are carved in the rustica style and the upper part is decorated with various reliefs, archeologists are not sure what the reliefs signify

Directions: Located north of the junction, on the outskirts of mount Pion
