Eastern edge of the pan, Namutoni is the first camp I visited at Etosha. Is a very popular camp, where showers and toilets are old and the campground was not as clean as the ones I had visit along Namibia, but of course you can understand it cause there are many people here.
It have a little swimming pool and lots of black-backed jackals throughout the camp at night.
It was a nice night, the 8 of October, not cold at all, and I left my shoes outside my tent, despite the advise SirRichard gave me before going "don't leave your shoes out the tent or the jackals will still them" ... and that is what did happened .. a jackal took one of my shoes ... my only good walking shoes ... but ... thanks god I did find it after a while ... I was very lucky

Unique Qualities: shop, postoffice, waterhole (not a very visit by animals), electricity

Address: Etosha
Theme: Campground

Review Helpfulness: 4.5 out of 5 stars
