"British Museum" British Museum Tip by WulfstanTraveller

British Museum, London: 318 reviews and 592 photos

I probably don't need to say much about this place as it is extremely famous and often mentioned, while just about anyone interested in going to London is likely to hear of it. However, it is simply quite possibly the greatest museum of its kind in the world. It is massive and contains pretty much every kind of artifact imaginable from thousands of years ago to the modern day. It also has always been free (at least up through my last visit in 2001). I think that they should at least charge foreigners a small amount , though.
