Monestir De Pedralbes, Barcelona: 22 reviews and 96 photos
A part of this beautiful gothic monastry is presently open to public. I was extremely sorry to learn that I came there too late and the gates were closed so I only had the opportunity to see the exterior. The museum houses a bunch of works of art from the Thyssen Collection.
The monastry was founded by Queen Elisenda de Montcada in 1326. It is still used by a community of nuns.
Address: Pl. Jardins de Toquilo
