This little log cabin is a replica of the first house in Dallas which was built and owned by one of the founders of Dallas, John Neely Bryan.
His cabin, built in 1841, was originally located less than a quarter of a mile from this new site and it was largely destroyed by a flood in the late 1800's. The cabin stands in Dallas County Historical Plaza (aka Founders Plaza) and is in rememberance to the early days of the city.

Address: Elm and Market St
Directions: The Cabin is ini the Dallas Historical Plaza, a short walk from Kennedy Plaza and the 6th Floor Museum.
