Luggage and bags: Easy access water proof bags or boxes....boxes are better for you can store them more neatly and safely, but it will cost you around 200 pounds for reasonable quality storage boxes.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Trainers are fine for this trip but flip flops are essential for when the day is finished...your feet tend to get a bit hot and suffocated after a full days driving in hot temperatures. Have your flip flops within easy reach for when you finish.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Hahaha essential to carry toilet roll at all times...many places dont supply this.

Photo Equipment: If you have a digi cam it might be an idea to run out and buy lots more memory...we did find a place to down load our photos to a disk in France but the views etc etc might make you take a lot more photos than you would normally.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Quick easy erecting tents are essential for if the weather turns bad...main thing is organisation of what you have taken so you can unpack and pack in the least amount of time possible.

Miscellaneous: Later on I will put a rough guide up off mistakes and good points of how and what we packed...it does make a big differance if you get this part organised.
