  Hong Kong Bird Market
by XenosUK

In Hong Kong birds are valued more for their songs than their appearance and in the Bird Market you can see and hear thousands of them. It's common to see a group of friends sitting around comparing their prize birds and they seem to take them out for walks in the same way that westerners take their dogs out.

Take care if you're squeamish, because many of the stalls sell live insects for feeding these pampered pets!

Address: Mongkok, Kowloon
Directions: Three blocks east of Prince Edward MTR station.

If you're using a map, make sure it's up to date as some older ones may still show the market's previous location near Mong Kok station
