"Monument Valley - what a view!" United States of America Things to Do Tip by Myndo

Monument Valley - everybody has seen it already somewhere.
In the advertisment this is Marlboro Country (I just wished they found something else to promote with this wonderful landscape).

Monument Valley with its many alone standing Rocks (like Monuments) is very impressive. The land elseif is quite flat, so the contrast to these red rocks is amazing.

Make a tour here with one of the many indian residents. This is their country and its best to let them explain what it means for them.

The drive around we did was 3 hours long. Next to the landscape we also had a small view inside the live of the indians here.

The two big rocks that look like hands or mittens (see picture) are named after prospectors that died here. Forgot their names, though.

Directions: There is only one main road, US 163, which links Kayenta, AZ with US 181 in Utah.
