"Getting wet" Nottingham Warnings Or Dangers Tip by redtrike1
Nottingham Warnings and Dangers: 13 reviews and 9 photos
While it is not a requirement to be able to swim, I do feel that some people will be put off the holiday because of being afloat.
Trust me, in most of the canals you are seldom more than about 10 feet from the edge and in some less than 6 feet.
Also to put yuor minds at rest the marina's are more than willing to supply you with lifejackets although I think that if you act sensibly then these are not really required except for possibly the children. We have been for the past 4 years, and havent even got our feet wet unless it was stepping in a puddle on the way to the pub.
