At the cross streets of Mott and Canal and all around, you will find yourself admist a throng of Chinese people and wonder if you had just stepped instantly into another country. If you never goto China in your life, I suppose that this is the closest thing you will get to.

There are plenty of markets there...fruit and fish vendors. You can find a variety of Asian gold...22k-24k in an array of Chinese styles. There is a dizzying assortment of knick knacks to be found. You can find perfume vendors all along Canal street...that was my favorite!! Best of all, there were lots and lots of places to eat!! I had really great pastries and noodles! Try the chow fun...its yummy!!
