"If you're the type of person..." Thailand Off The Beaten Path Tip by Krystynn

If you're the type of person (like me) who gets bored quickly by sitting around the pool.... or doing nothing, here are some cool things which you may be interested to explore.

Sea Canoeing. A sea canoeing adventure (full day) including drinks and lunch will cost you around 2,700 Bahts. For this, you'd get a chance to canoe into the 'hongs' (read: hidden caves and inland lagoons) through the beautiful limestone caves found in Phang Nga Bay.

Bungy Jumping. Dare to be extraordinary? Just a few kilometers outside of Patong Beach, you'd be able to find the 'Jungle Bungy Jump'. This is where you put your courage (or what's left of it) to the ultimate test.

Elephant Trekking. Head to one of these elephant camps around Patong and go on an elephant ride! Very fun.

Jeep Safari. Go on a jeep safari which will take you from Phuket right up to Khao Sok National Park .... and across to Ko Samui.... and then, back down to Phang Nga Bay.

Para Gliding. I would love to try this on my next trip to Phuket. My little sister is more dare devilish compared to me. She has tried her hands at almost everything - yes, from para gliding, jet skiing and even sky diving! This girl is getting my Mom very, very worried. :-)

Jet Skiing. Can't wait to try this out on my next visit too!
