  Strangely Symmetrical Garden

Now that I had a nice picnic on the park and filled my tummy with a nice salad, I took a look around the gargantuan gardens.
Needless to say, I was bowled over!
The lovely Orangery is a case in point. Dug into the slope below the chateau and flanked by 2 gorgeous, 100-step staircases is AndrÚ le N˘tre's masterful landscape design.
Yes, he is the chap who designed the Finance Minister's garden and inspired the King to create something a hundred times its size. Over here, you'll see cute, potted orange trees and phoenix palms dotted around the strangely geometrical garden and the Swiss Lake.

I must have spent hours here before proceeding to the Apollo fountain. Follow me as I walk back to the central portion of the chateau...
