Brooklyn Diner USA: "B-R-O-O-K-L-Y-N in the House" Brooklyn Diner Tip by AliasGirl

Brooklyn Diner, New York City: 5 reviews and 4 photos

Brooklyn Diner USA is a nostalgic throwback to the old Brooklyn days but updated with an upscale urban twist. This smallish restaurant/diner is located off the main drag on 57th Street. The only thing it has in common with its competitors is being located on 57th, its food and decor is much better by any standards.

So, what will you find here? Classic Brooklyn staples like pot roast, chicken soup, meat loaf (better than your grandma's), a 15-bite hot dog, matzoh ball soup, macaroni and cheese, egg creams, and scrumptous desserts. With the portions so large you will never get to dessert unless its shared by a group. The last time I visited the Diner with my husband, a piece of chocoloate cake was about 5" tall!

Favorite Dish: We've had so many of the dishes hard to choose our favorites: meat loaf, mac & cheese, pot roast sandwich even the largest hot dog ever.
