See and live the city and harbour of Rotterdam.
Being bombed in W.W.II, the historic centre of the city was destroyed. Since 1975, building-activities have changed it from a blank spot on the map into a lively business/shopping district where you can find the nicest of shops, restaurants and bar's.
Just outside of this centre you will find some interesting buildings to visit and excursions to make, a lot of them having to do with the harbour and job's related to the harbour and the sea.

Delfshaven is a small town, annexed by Rotterdam in 1889, that still has a very much historic setting.
From this place, the ship of the pelgrim-fathers left for England, to later sail on to America.

Directions: Follow the 'Waterstad' - signs and you will probably see it all.
Delfshaven is easily reached by 'Metro' (underground)
